Feds say no to "threatened" status for wolves By John Myers Today at 2:45 p.m. Why is that USFWS seem to have their heads up their proverbial ASSES???? The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Tuesday that it will not consider listing grey wolves as "threatened'' under the Endangered Species Act.   The suggestion had come from wolf protection groups who say the status would be a compromise between the current, fully endangered status and proposals in Congress to delist wolves entirely.
