  1. I understand that a representative from your group came to California Pines in northeastern California looking for a “Sanctuary” site for wolves. I was asked to contact you to discuss your plans.

It is hard to talk by phone up here as we are cellular only in Cal Pines, and reception is bad. I would be happy to meet with you in Alturas if you would like to go over your plans with me. I am not sure if I can be of any help at all, but I am sympathetic to the problem and would be happy to talk to you about it. Let me know. -Jenn

  2. I would love to be of Any assistance possible. Currently I am in NW Ohio but am more than willing to relocate.
My experience with dogs is Immense, I was previously handling over 150 dogs in a “pack orientated” living situation. Though thus was Not an optimal condition for them, I had no problem handling them. (I Did report the owner of the”sanctuary” & he Does have a current Federal case against him, Thankfully) My knowledge of Wolves is Exuberant. As a former vet tech, handler, animal care giver & wild life rehabilitator, I feel I could be a tremendous asset to your team.

  3. I work with a wolf coalition that could be very helpful if we both join forces to protect wolves. Please e-mail me and I will share more details on how we can help you in your efforts. Thank you.

  4. Hello. I wrote an op ed responding to Cameron Mulrony’s 9/19 op ed in the Idaho Statesman. So far the IS has been slow to respond to my submission. Would you like to post it on your website? If not, please let me know where else I might send it.

  5. Hi,

I would like to donate but I can’t seem to find out how on the site. Do I have to do it via Continue To Give? I’m an individual, I thought Continue To Give was for organizations or fundraising companies. Please advise.

  6. Do you have any program where a person can volunteer to ride to screen the wolves from livestock or other related protective activities?
I’ve got a horse and trailer, am retired, and have done extensive riding in the Coastal Range in Oregon and have an EMT license and I’d be interested in examining opportunities in riding Oregon or the NW region as long I could find a place to camp and safely keep my horse.

  7. Is it true…wolves are bad?

As a child, growing up, that’s what I believed. After all, the children’s books I read, characters like the wolf man, plus feature movies and cartoons, all showed the wolf as evil or in a bad light.

Years later, I was nearly hired to produce a film showing the wolf as bad and not worthy of reintroduction into Yellowstone. I believed the lies even then, although the project did not materialize.

In the last several years, I have written adventures and mysteries for readers 8 – 12. One of those titles is Legend of the White Wolf. As I entered into the research for this book, I have to admit that I still believed the wolf would primarily be negative in the story. But what I discovered changed my opinion. As a result, Legend of the White Wolf puts the wolf into the positive light I believe these magnificent animals deserve.

It’s my opinion that, if we hope to change public opinion about these animals, the best way is to start is by informing children about the truth.

If you are in a position to do so, I hope you will alert the people, organizations, and groups within your circle of influence, that Legend of the White Wolf puts the wolf in its proper light.

    Thank you,
