EVERYONE watch yourselves in the Lily Lake Wyoming area for illegal Traps and a pissed off Grizzly Bear from being caught in an illegal trap. All the more reason for not only our Sacred Resource Protection Zone, but outlawing Traps simply due to the fact that they not only hurt peoples pets, but Species still listed as Endangered!!
All of us are concerned about The Grizzly de-listing as well as The Sacred Resource Protection Zone. Here is another prime example of Wyoming is not capable of managing Sacred Resources!! They cant even control their trappers. Traps need to be outlawed period!
There is a Grizzly Bear photographed above the Hatchet in the area of Lilly Lake Wyoming with a trap on his foot or leg. The trap is illegal. It is a coni-bear trap and there is no animal in season for that trap at this time.
The trap is left over from the winter season.
The Forest Service advised our Source that a photographer showed them a photo of the trapped bear, and they informed WGFD, who took over the investigation, no surprise….. WGFD cant even respond appropriately to our current petition, let alone manage our Sacred Resources!! The Forest Service suggested a press release to warn the public but at present to no avail.
The Black Rock Ranger Station did warn a friend of mine, today, she has business in the area tomorrow to be on watch for the bear and to inform them of the GPS location asap. All of us are concerned for the Grizzly Bear in the face of De-lisitng. This certainly is of interest to the concern that WGFD does not have adequate regulatory mechanisms in place to protectively manage the Grizzly Bear in the face of de-lising.
