LET’S STOP THE WAR ON WOLVES

TAKE ACTION

STOP CONGRESS FROM CARRYING OUT A WAR ON WOLVES

A new Senate Sportsmen’s bill, S. 1514, contains a damaging provision targeting gray wolves. This “War on Wolves” legislation would block federal protections for wolves in four states and allow them to be trophy hunted, trapped and otherwise killed.  It would even prevent courts from intervening!

Please take just a minute to call your U.S. senators and tell them you OPPOSE S. 1514 and all other attacks on protections for gray wolves!

If anti-wolf members of Congress get their way, the result will be more dead wolves and a blow to the Endangered Species Act, our nation’s safety net for imperiled species.

Take action now before it’s too late!

  1. I recommend that each person individually write their legislators and send copy to administrators (presidents, relevant agency heads), WHENEVER they detect one of these bills, and more especially “riders”.

Riders are a particularly corrupt method of slipping by antiwildlife provisions into law.
While the democrats did this to wolves in order to get Montana’s rancher senator Tester elected, the practice stems from earlier republican corruption (I can’t go into it here, although I researched the practice a decade ago, tracing the perpetrators. You will have to do it yourself, as I go into violent rage when having to deal with it and these people).

Please DEMAND that riders unrelated to appropriations bills be banned – a national movement needs to cure this corruption from the US.
I am by necessity a wolf advocate, but by long association, training, and personal interaction one whose life retains intimacy and respect for those other lives so falsely controlled and vilified by this culture. It is the culture that must disappear, so long as it refuses to restore equal value, validity, respect, and reverence for the wolf and others, to that which you grant to your own kind.

If you can and desire to deal with politics, please DO fund campaigns against legislators who sign onto wolf-killing or exclusion. Personal experience causes me to mention that the decades of work is exhausting. Your values are more important than the social status you automatically desire, more valuable than money, or “love” based upon conditions or even familiarity. Your life has greater meaning, and this meaning is all that is important. Original cultures have always understood this, and what you are drawn to makes you unique in all place and time. If you are here for wolf, this has meanings beyond those your society and even self-narrative language can lead you.
