READ ENTIRE POST IF YOU TRULY CARE

about our Wolves, Buffalo, wildlife!

We all know that Taking the apex predator out of the food chain causes its own set of problems. You then you have too many rabbits and deer, Elk, Buffalo, and then people get annoyed with them and start putting poisons out, building endless webs of highways that make it impossible for the animals to safely cover the area they need to cover to find food, or just start shooting them. We The Human Beings are the problem.. not Them! We don’t leave them enough area to support themselves, when in fact they had all of of North America before Europeans Showed up here. Human Beings forgot the Instructions our Ancestors gave us, in order to maintain a Healthy Mother Earth!

When will it become time to listen ? When it is too late? We can Take Direct Action Tomorrow if You Join Us Today.

Or are we all simply a people that like to look at pretty pictures while putting our heads in The Sand to those that are Slaughtering our Wolves? People have complained to me because I show the truth in the Pictures as well as the Articles I post.. For those of you that complain, I strongly suggest you find someone that gives a shit! Because I DO NOT! You have to know the truth of what is happening to our environment, and desire to support those that do care.

Our Wildlife didn’t ask to be brought into a world that’s too selfish to make room for them and let them exist. As for the savage way they hunt or kill, it’s totally natural for them to want to protect their own babies that they love, but if they do attempt to make a kill, they are marked a problem…, they don’t have hands, or guns or tools or ropes. All that they have is their intelligence, and the ability to work together as 1 unit. Which Unlike Human beings… whom don’t have a clue how to work together!! They have their paws to run with, and their teeth to grab ahold with, and then they are left with no other choice but to rip, so I don’t think you should hold them accountable for that too. When In Fact alot of hunters are not even skilled enough to finish killing what they started out to by shooting, then are to stupid to know how to track and find the life they are trying to take!!! How many steaks do each of us eat every year? At least we get to grill ours first. My point here is life is hard for these animals, It comes down to they have to make a kill to support their family, or lose their cubs or starve themselves. The Same as All Great White Hunters Claim to do… I hunt to support my family….. B.S. Most Hunters hunt for nothing more than the trophy!!
Put yourself in their shoes and ask what would you do in that position? Fact of the matter is Ranchers are grazing their cattle on land, that you bought from a government, or on Forest Service or BLM lands, who by all accounts of how we killed all the Native Americans to get it, didn’t really have the right to sell it to you in the first place.
I understand the bottom line in business, but in this case, I don’t think that the ranchers need a break, nor deserve it!, Ranchers are crying everywhere that Wild Game are destroying their Government grazing lands, that you and I pay Taxes for. When in Fact I don’t believe they should be allowed to own any more Animals be they Cows, sheep, whatever than their own piece of land can support.
All of our wildlife numbers across the board are shrinking. Do we really want to live on a planet of people, cows, pigs and chickens, because that’s all we’re going to have left. And Grandfather said you may eat the animals, he never said you must eat them.
I am Sorry for driveling on for so Long, but it truly saddens me that there are but a few, that I can count on one single hand that appear to believe that animals are important enough to Actually do something about it and Support a cause that does!
It Truly Saddens me…..You would not believe how many People have told me That they will support Friends of the WOLF to Protect The Wolves and Save Our Wolves , and have yet taken any action to actually join whatsoever. People You use smoke for smudging… Please dont blow it up my ass!
We can All play a part to be a large voice by supporting a Native American Religious Cause That even with some 57,370 combined followers feels it important to respond to each and every post she sees come across her site in one way or another!! ALMOST all of pages I have been on Facebook don’t even come close to the caring and compassion they have for their followers as do Friends of The Wolf and Protect The Wolves!

If you Believe and Are Not my friend yet, then also by all means send me A friend request PLEASE! I need true friends with the same beliefs that our Ancestors have taught us!
Did you make it this far? Then you believe! With our Numbers, it would be possible to put 1 state in Court every Single Month!

If you believe…. then help Protect The Wolves™ on Their mission to use their Native American Religious and Treaty rights to speak for our Wolves and Wildlife!

  1. Roger,
It is really good, as well as important, that you speak passionately to us on Protect the Wolves, WHENEVER you feel overwhelmed by the wrong paths taken by so many.
I really want to thank you for helping us to know more of you.
It gives me , and surely everyone, more courage through knowing that each of us is not alone, in this long-fragmented world, where once wisdom, acceptance, love was strongly passed on and among relatives.

I cannot do facebook or loud exposed public formats myself, but your work requires that you be exposed to those who are forcing their ways and overly selfish goals lethally on this beautiful land of Wolf.

I just came from a couple long discussions about intentional signals of wolves, and how they grow to, and evaluate companions and possible mates.
These many years of distress since childhood about how humans treat wolf and other equally valid lives, have been difficult for me. I was made to scout elsewhere , and report things like what wolf (or bear, or bird, or spider, or any being) has to say, and how they say it, and what the ones I’ve met have said.
But I was mostly made to BE among those others – the messenger thing is because I was also made human.

I’m here commenting because not only do manipulating humans (or takers as the Ocheti Sakowin and others have had to learn to call them) NOT listen, but most have NEVER LEARNED to listen to each other, or any other being that says and has so much to tell and teach them..

Worse, this whole cutting-off (it has always been a problem shared by humans when under stress & threat) way of life you speak of here, HAS TO BE reversed.

Each of us has an indispensable and UNIQUE part in this. Nobody else can do what YOU can do.

I can’t remember if I told the Siberian traditional story here, but you have heard of the Oneida story of “Who Speaks For Wolf?” – It seems that the important lesson there is the fact that any good group of people, return to the idea of council, where ALL are heard, all respect, all listen.
Right now, there is not sufficient respect – everybody is anonymously yelling, and scattering in fear.

I used to tell people that just commented “shame!” or some such divisive word, that it’s up to THEM to get to work on speaking more, exposing more, learning more, as you do, Roger, Twowolves.

I know you are not content with this common practice of people who have not yet learned in life, to listen.

To try to help you, right here I’ll just say to everyone who takes the mistaken idea that they should make war , something I begin with when talking about Wolf:
I tell them that the wolf is primarily, ABOVE ALL, a communicator.

The wolf is more aware , takes in consciously and learns from, everything [s]he senses.
    Everything!
Including the displays, signals, behaviors, smells, that others emit without consciousness.
I have seen the wolf collect and learn through time; seen that they each associate and remember more acutely so many more things than many of us can imagine.

Some part of what has made each of you who read this, has made you aware of what the wolf is, or has to tell and teach, to a greater extent than others.

You have followed this way, unlike those whose personal shape or make-up have caused them to fail.
It’s possible that because of human medicine and strong social way of protection, that there have now survived; many people who are broken, not made to survive, who do.
We have not been for some thousand years, selected for our necessary fullness and skill, as have been the elk or bison or deer or other prey of the wolf. It has made us forget, made us lazy, too lazy to learn at every moment.
This means both that we’ve made our society instead too protective, and that many who know inside they are not so fit for life in the real world, survive.
These may be the more insanely strange breakers and takers you see. They surely include those who act cruelly and fearfully pre-emptively , and those who feel unsafe and unable to live without modern simple two-pound-pressure gun triggers and poison.

I’ve said before that ranchers are NOT truly country people – their whole work and focus are to feed, and profit by, urban masses. Their domestics are “things” they use. Only unconsciously do most ranchers absorb the intentional and other signals of the real life of those other animals. This is why they say they “love” their animals, why they confuse love with possession, and why they kill them as sociopaths kill other humans.
Much of the way we treat others is due to protectionist thinking; the fencing and “owning” to gain money, which is status to people who participate in the present culture, is the result of too many humans with no relief. We feel threatened, and so

It is important that you recontact the knowledge you have, through some solitude daily or weekly from humans, returning among the other beings of earth, especially in this time when you are overwhelmed by this crushing war humans are making.

I tried advocacy and speaking to those lost humans and those who cannot distinguish them from those who still know and respect our relatives,
but had to return to the way for which I was made.
I will give the kinds of things that I can between wolf and you, and do what little I can to call upon those who are taking the increasingly blind and destructive way.

When each person follows their personal most fulfilling way, while giving as much as you each can – this will not be weighed; YOU are the one who knows how much you can give of your life – together we will most quickly change this long stepping down the wrong paths.

To all others who read Roger today: do not forget that you must give and do just a little more than you feel capable of; but do NOT abandon the thing you are directed to do and be,within yourself, even if you have to put is aside for longer than you like..
Instead of just making a “hating” comment online, give Roger something important that you think he might need.

I began a discussion this morning with the question [paraphrased here because spoken to a famed wolf/dog cognitive scientist who has never mentioned the behavior – nor has any other, even though it is something so important that I never fail to respond]:

“Why does a wolf or dog turn their head toward a companion from time to time, often brushing their nose to both seemingly politely ask, or tell, of their passage? Their ears can swivel, which keeps them able to monitor,, to know what the other is doing. What does this purposeful choice to seek eye contact and signal attention mean?” I went on to discuss its importance in bonding and good feeling, and in wolves, a way of telling that it is the moment to do a certain contingent thing, known to both; sometimes it is to just pay attention to some other thing going on.

Here Roger has done something more desperate, but not unlike. Support him by showing that you return his gaze. You will know what to do – it will spring up clearly within you.
Do this thing that you KNOW to do.

    1. Hey, Roger,
Can you find out any update on The legal people who said they will act fro PtW if enough number of members are represented by the organization?

It’s a real bad season since that day last November, and the jurists (judges and justices) being put into place in the past months also do not bode well.

In the past couple decades of wolf return, a lot of people are finding ut tat te only way to change somebody is to consider them as important and get to know them personally.
One day in Idaho, I was talking to Carter Niemeyer, a former Wildlife Services and other trapper, the guy who negotiated or caught the Alberta and BC wolves to release in Yellowstone and in the Sawtooth Valley. Since he had jobs working with ranchers and people who were afraid of wolf, his whole life after becoming up close and personal with wolves, turned him into a complete anti-lethal management advocate.
But because he has to deal with those fearful and angry people who feel cattle and sheep loss from wolves, he uses his background and familiarity with working for them to get them to try nonlethal methods.
They trust him, he and other people who depend on him to protect wolves have told me.

Everybody has unique skills. Is Protect the Wolves getting enough new members?
have you reached the numeric goal asked for by Western Environmental Law Center, or whoever it is told you when they would act?
The orgs that for Pacific Wolf Coalition have possibilities for PtW. They support one another in actions, and may also share membership rolls.
How big is PtW? are there staff who can or could handle a membership solicitation program?

Buffalo Field Campaign developed over in Yellowstone by making sure their people had a presence on the ground, taking photos and videos of what was happening to bison. They were formed by a native American Grandmother and some people who felt the same way.
One even tours with a band, for funds and publicizing the plight. They also were big original supporters and both talk and table at the annual “Speak For Wolves” http://www.speakforwolves.org/ and https://www.facebook.com/speakforwolveswestyellowstone/
      This helped them grow fast.

I know you’re doing immense work behind scenes. and that’s why it might be good to tell people if you need more volunteers, what skills you need, and if you need to or do contact other wolf orgs, or write to news press about PtW.,

or, develop the site here like Lobos of the Southwest https://www.mexicanwolves.org/
does. They have a big program of how to write to news papers and speak to local legislators.

PtW seems really knowledgeable, aware of what goes on within a day or two. I tend to try to keep some anonymity because of what people do on the internet to others, and because I travel among differently thinking people, but as a Voice, PtW might do best by shaping some kind of visible form.

Do you, can you, reach out to talk with the tribes who are more friendly and respectful with Wolf?
To individuals of those tribes who may have less protective policies?
You are intertribal in nature, and this, even if long-term and not productive right now, is something that will be necessary to help the wolf live in peace, doing what they are made to do . . .
Even if you want no general public face, this speaking to the people who you will be representing will help to heal and form a powerful voice.

      1. Author

Pacific Wolf Coalition does not appreciate Our Bluntness, they would rather sugar coat the truth, as has CFBD who have told us they can not find a way to stop the killing, that our Religious and treaty rights could possibly be the only hope…. We are presently coordinating a “Formal Resolution of Support” with Windriver Advocacy group in Wyoming. Sergio has been instrumental since he lost his position due to funding cuts as the Tribal Liaison to the Governor, Not to mention can now be more outspoken 😉
