Protect The Wolves™ has asked Senator Murray to help with WDFW
Good Morning Senator Murray,
We are a Native American 501c3 that is Called Protect The Wolves™. I am a Cowlitz Tribal Member that has been trying to get through to WDFW Donny Martorello! He seems to only have one thing on his mind and that is providing BLOOD for Ranchers! He has made Empty Promises with regards to learning about Tribal Treaty and Religious Rights as they pertain to our Sacred Species. Donny Martorello and the WDFW are in direct violation of not only the Public Trust, but Our very own Indian Trust by not only managing our Resources for the Special Interest Cattle Rancher, they are also in direct conflict by having any “Special Interest” Cattle Ranchers, or Hunting Special Interest involved in suggesting policy change for our Resources!
We as a Native American Group have been discriminated against by our own Attorney General. He refuses to give Native American Religious Rights the same attention that he provides to Immigrants!!
The Indigenous People Consider all living things Sacred, Our Spirit animal being the Wolf to us is no Different than the Bible to Christians
We have been working towards getting Martorello to agree to relocating problem wolves to a Native American Sanctuary since before The Profanity Peak Massacre occurred, Martorello refused to return our Phone Calls!. Sadly Donny Martorello calls them wolves with a problem! Donny Martorello has refused to follow through already with his own Verbal commitments which reflects poorly upon our State Government! That basically are only doing what wolves do when you place Cattle right on Top of The DEN SITE! We have Supported Dr Wielgus position since we first interviewed him Last Year with regards to the Cattle being pushed on the Den Site, now he is sending us the documentation proof of his statements.
We also ask if you could assist us by supporting a Relocation Effort, Senators McCoy, and Rankin Will… We have many Tribal endorsements that also do. The Relocation Efforts costs will be supported by us as a Native American Religious Group. We will provide the Live Trapping simply due to the fact that Martorello and his Henchmen do not have the skillset to do so. They are unable to even humanely kill an animal as proven by them last year. Sadly they have removed that claim of a wolf being humanely killed from their updates, but we actually kept copies to use as proof later on…
If you will support not only our Problem Wolf Relocation Efforts, but also Supporting the Relocation of an entire pack from Northeast Washington To Our Tribes Homelands in Mt St Helens National Monument where they will soon be having an Elk issue prior to their becoming a Cattle Rancher issue this would be greatly Appreciated. The Definition of Indian Country by the EPA means that Indian Country exists even off of a current Reservation… Our Homelands have remained the same since Time Immemorial.
