Mr. President,
We the people come before you to humbly ask that you immediately terminate USDA’S WS Funding due to their lack of following the Law, that we as U.S. Citizens are required to follow! USDA’S WS Employees are told by their supervisors to pay no attention to the law, while at the same time Lie in their reporting of the Facts to enable them to continue to receive Taxpayer funding.

Several former Wildlife Services Agents describe how Their superiors encouraged Them to purchase illegal pesticides from the Wyoming Department of Agriculture to resell to ranchers and Wyoming’s state predator boards to kill predators like coyotes, wolves, e. He likened it to a “drug operation.” This Happened even after the Banning of said Chemicals and Poisons.
Rather than fostering a peaceful coexistence between animals and humans, Wildlife Services is actively hunting, poisoning, and inhumanely trapping animals. Coyotes, wolves, and mountain lions are treated as nuisances and slaughtered, inadvertently Hawks, Eagles, Golden Eagles and many other species are killed. Often illegally.

Former Wildlife Services trapper Gary Strader was horrified with how the agency was slaughtering animals and running unchecked, as well. He explains that when he started with Wildlife Services he was “a great employee” who they would often call in if “there was a coyote that needed killing.” He witnessed one of his coworkers illegally shooting mountain lions from the air, which is a felony. When he brought his concerns to his boss, he was labeled “a troublemaker” and eventually fired.
Predators aren’t the only victims of Wildlife Services. Pets, Endangered Species, Hawks, Eagles, Golden Eagles, Raptors to name a few, people, and even the livestock that the agency is supposed to protect, have been maimed, poisoned, or killed in the agency’s traps, or unlawful actions. Often the agency reports their kills (Cattle Deaths, Eagles etc.) as predator kills, which wrongly sheds a bad light on our Wildlife. 2 – 250 pound calves were poisoned with a Wildlife Service Agents cyanide trap, which the agent was told to report it as a predator kill, for example, to cover up the agency’s recklessness.

We the People do not want to be held responsible for insuring that Ranchers are successful with our tax dollars! Nor do we have any desire to enable the USDA’S WS to kill or poison any more of our wildlife, or our Domestic animals for their enjoyment it would seem! The Ranchers need to support themselves in this effort.
