WDFW paid over $7,000 dollars for 3 cows- and a calf in 2016.
This was reported in the first phase of WDFWs attempt to get us all records since 2012 on money paid to Ranchers. Please see attached PDF
Our request to them asked to show whom these dollar amounts was in fact paid to. Phase 1 did not show us the names, so we will send back a request for clarification on who this money was paid out to.
There is also a list that supposedly contains all of the Ranchers that have signed a Damage Agreement
1) An accounting of all reimbursements dating from 2012 paid out to all Ranchers.
Payments for livestock loss or injury caused by bear, cougar, or wolf
paid through claims or damage agreements.
