If we fail to act, prepare to see more of this… Our Dead Sacred Wolves

The Wyoming Stock Growers Association is trying to assert their pressure once again. The State of Wyoming has not earned the privilege to manage anything on their own after Wyoming’s USDA got busted for selling Banned poisons… Our question to you is why were they not prosecuted…

We need to Draft a Letter to all Senators to ask that they vote no on the rider… Again a rider is going to harm our Sacred Wildlife…

Commish supports wolf delisting language in Energy Bill

Park County commissioners approved language supporting a rider into the Federal Energy Bill regarding delisting of the wolf from the Endangered Species Act during their meeting Oct. 18.

The Energy Bill, which has already passed the U.S. House of Representatives, contained a “Sportsman’s Package” which included a congressionally mandated delisting of the gray wolf in Wyoming. A similar Senate bill doesn’t contain the language.

The Wyoming Stock Growers Association has put together a letter to the chair and ranking member of the Senate Energy Committee, Lisa Murkowski, urging support for retaining the House provision. WSGA is also trying to secure as many agriculture, sportsman and wildlife, and other affected organizations to have their organizational name on the letter. The commissioners joined this list.
