Environmental groups want Supreme Court to stop wolf cull

Two non-profit environmental groups filed a petition with the Supreme Court of British Columbia last week challenging the provincial government’s legal authority to shoot wolves in the South Peace and Selkirk regions. The petition, filed by the Pacific Wild Alliance and Valhalla Wilderness Society Jan. 18, would have the court halt the wolf cull until the province meets its legal …
