Mollies Alpha Male

The alpha male of Mollie’s pack in Yellowstone National Park recently turned up with mange and about 40 percent of his hair gone. This photo was taken while he was sedated He later wandered off and may have died, park officials said. The Park Service is just as Culpable for the Introduction of Mange to Park Wolves

I have to Laugh when National Park Service say they do not interfere with wildlife…. In Yellowstone They began interfering long before they realized they had made a dire mistake when Park Officials allowed mange to be Introduced to Park Wolves in 1905 after Montana Governor ordered the State Veterinarian to infect wolves and Coyotes. Mange was introduced into the Yellowstone ecosystem at this time in an attempt to accelerate wolf eradication during an era when wildlife officials tried to cut down predator populations.

Importing predators like wolves some say would be a precedent-setting move for the park service, for Isle Royal National Park, however they have already set the precedent in Yellowstone. This issue is likely to be heavily debated, however whatever the Park service tries to hide behind…. should get kicked out fairly easily.

Park Officials used to Kill wolves on site it sounds like, below is a chart showing the Facts! So Yes, Park officials have already in the past interfered with wildlife.  In 1916, when the National Park Service was created, its enabling legislation also included words that authorized the Secretary of the Interior to “provide in his discretion for the destruction of such animals and of such plant life as may be detrimental to the use of said parks, monuments and reservations”. How is it possible after seeing this, that the Park Services can claim they can not interfere with wildlife?

The March 1905 Montana law required the state veterinarian to capture six wolves, as well as  six coyotes in eight counties, infect them with mange and then send them off “in six different directions – not less than eight miles away in each direction.”

Lawmakers set aside $2,500 to implement the program, which remains today to Haunt Our Wildlife as well as Pets which needs to be reversed legally in Court. Montana, needs to be held responsible in Our Opinion!! After all it was their Governor that signed the Law that affects your pets and our Children’s wildlife today!

We dont understand why A decision is not expected until late 2017….. at the earliest. What would be the most beneficial to wolves is importing an entire pack of wolves to replace the wolves that have been Lost, then Import another bloodline. Wolves have proven that they are intelligent enough to allow nature to take over as The Junction Butte Pack has done by allowing the Beta to Breed…. But then Wolves are smarter than the Humans that think they are trying or somehow think they have the capability to Manage wildlife, when infact they do not….have no business managing any wildlife….Humans will continue to Spin Mother Nature out of Balance due to a few things…. fear from lack of education, Money, Greed, Ranchers… I get a real kick out of Ranches, someone has infected their Brains with the belief that they are the Number 1 conservationist right there with Hunters….. What a Joke….
