GREAT FALLS – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is investigating the poaching of a wolf along the Rocky Mountain Front.
Bruce Auchly of FWP said in a press release that the wolf was illegally killed on Nov. 7 or Nov. 8, 2104 along Benchmark Road west of Augusta.
Anyone who saw the wolf, which had an orange radio collar, or has any information about the incident is asked to call FWP Game Warden Kqyn Kuka at (406) 750.3574.
You can also call 1-800-TIPMONT; informants are kept confidential and a reward of up to $1,000 is possible.
