Togo Pack member has been confirmed as injured with a self defense claim.

We need to Question WDFW why Ranchers are allowed to track wolves in Den Locations where these wolves will be protective of their Families.

The next question the public need to ask themselves, is how long will you allow this needless slaughter without Joining together as 1 voice to get it stopped? Not just an Injunction, but begin chipping away at ridding the WDFW Wag of its corruption, and the Organizations that rolled over that didn’t feel it important to go out swinging before allowing WDFW to adopt their rancher demanded lethal removal protocol. Those Organizations the same as WDFW have forgotten the Definition of “Conservation”.

It is time that the public begin to demand that WDFW manage wildlife and Our Sacred Resources based on Science and not the whims of the Rancher. It is time that the WDFW ask Travis Fletcher Colville USFS Grazing manager to close allotments near rendezvous sites.

Help to get unseen research into the courts to begin to take the appropriate action to Protect Our Children’s Resources, We assure you that Protect The Wolves™ will not simply roll over 😉

“On Aug. 27, four days after a Ferry County livestock producer reported shooting at a collared adult wolf in self-defense, a WDFW wolf biologist and a county wildlife specialist located the animal – injured but mobile – in the Togo pack territory in northeast Washington. Radio signals and recent GPS locations from the collared wolf led biologists to the vicinity where they saw and identified the wounded animal as the adult black male from the Togo pack.

The wolf biologist got within approximately 20 yards of the injured wolf and saw that its left rear leg appeared to be broken below the knee. Within seconds, the wolf ran into a wooded area. A remote camera in the area showed that the adult female from the Togo pack had been nearby the night before.

Based on their experience with other animals, WDFW wolf managers believe the injured wolf has a good chance of surviving, and the department will continue to monitor its movements. If the wolf does not remain active, the department will consider whether it should be euthanized.

The department is also continuing its investigation into the shooting incident. Additional information appears in four earlier wolf updates on the Togo pack, all of which appear below.”

  2. After wolves are exterminated, what will ranchers complain about next??? Bears, mountain lions….Future generations will only be able to see these beautiful creatures in zoo’s if they are lucky. What a shame, and all because of such greed and non carrying about all other living things we share this earth with. Disgraceful…:(
