Oregon has a serious problem with poachers and our wolves deserve justice

In Oregon, Protect The Wolves by Lynda1 Comment

Just yesterday we read news of an Oregon resident that set unmarked traps out and caught a juvenile female wolf then illegally shot and killed the animal. His name is David Parson’s and the case is still pending. DNA samples of the wolf have been collected for further testing.

We are extremely concerned that cases like this will not be taking as seriously as they should be. This is poaching and too many of our wolves have been killed like this and most of the time they are never found. Too many wolf poachers have escaped justice and the public finds this completely unacceptable. Not just Oregon residents but people from all over the country. Especially when it is an endangered species!!

We will not forget that OR-23, a female member of the Shamrock pack in the northeastern part of the state, was discovered dead in November. The poaching is the latest in a string of illegal killings in Oregon dating back to 2015, when the state removed the canids from its endangered species list. Since then, there have been at least nine animals have been deliberately poached or killed under suspicious circumstances. MOST UNSOLVED!

We have all seen and even heard comments from wolf hating ranchers and hunters about how they just shoot, shovel and shut up. They use handles or go by fake names to hide the violent crimes they commit. Someone is watching them, and if they don’t think so then they do not believe in a Creator.

The case of David Sanders like many others might be a little slap on the wrist because of how these people operate in these wolf-hating areas. This is straight out of the comments below the article—- Police say Elgin trapper illegally caught wolf, then shot it Updated Feb 1, The Oregonian:

“Davy went down for coffee the next morning and a pool of the local ranchers, farmers, and loggers raised $9200 to pay his fines and lawyer fees. Then told him that when that ran out to let them know and more would be on the way. Kind of a rural “go fund me”. ”

I saw several GO FUND ME comments in other forums.

Take a look at the comments in many articles that pertain to wolves and you will see the lowest life forms come out of the woodwork. L.G
