I saw a helicopter flying twice along the ridgeline from Copper Butte to Belcher Mountain (Kettle River Mountains) about 10 AM and 3 PM. Profanity Mountain was burned to a crisp last summer. Reports are traps have been set for the pups that will be shot or poisoned upon capture, then WDFW will kill the collared adults.
