My name is Michael Wolf. In 1997, I began “Wolf University,” a web page with the idea of educating people about wolves. I later started this website with the express purpose of presenting both sides of the issue. Curiously, in 2000, when I went to the Interagency Wolf Conference, ranchers and wolf “opponents” were all too happy to provide information for the site so that people could understand their perspective. But when I asked the scientists, biologists, wildlife and park managers and others from the “pro wolf” community to help, I was told to go home and let the “professionals” do it.
Well, they’ve done a really poor job.
