UPDATE ON MONTANA WOLF TROPHY SLAUGHTER SEASON:

As of noon today, 105 wolves in the state of Montana have lost their lives to trophy hunters.

Unit 101 has 18 kills;

Unit 390 17 kills;

Unit 290 with 14,

The other units range between 1 and 8.

Too many of our beloved wolves of Montana are losing their lives just to appease the trophy hunters and livestock industry. Where is their coexistence management tools? Why arent they being used more, we know that there are good Ranchers that in fact know how to coexist in Montana.
It is beyond disappointing that MFWS Commission and Agency have turned a deaf ear to how essential the Grey Wolf would be in their state in controlling Chronic Wasting Disease in the state, the added income from Yellowstone’s Visitors. An immediate moratorium on wolf trophy hunting should have been put in place at their meeting last week. It is also Very Disappointing that MFWS Ignored our Petition to add our  Proposed “Sacred Resource Protection Zone”. They could not even be bothered to Respond!
Beginning tomorrow the Grey Wolf not only has rifle hunters to deal with, they will now have to beware of traps and snares as the legal trapping of the Grey Wolf starts and runs through February 28,2018. This barbaric practice needs to stop. There is no justification for it to continue in modern time.

National Park Wildlife are in dire need of our Proposed “Sacred Resource Protection Zone”. Help us get this much needed conservation tool to come to pass by Joining our Voice.

  2. The trappers will more than double the death toll. Trappers take more than hunters and many will not be reported. They are the lowest of low lifes. The social structures of almost all Montana packs will be destroyed…..

  4. There has to be away that we can stop these horrible haters. The wolf is a sacared wolf wolf walked this earth with man as a partner. My Cherokee grandfather told me if you destroy the wolf you destroy man. God put them here to teach humans humility and love of family. Maybe if the haters would stop hating and really get to know the wolf maybe they wouldn’t hate any more. I hope the gates of heaven will stay closed for wolf killers. They are to evil to get into heaven.

      There is, We have the Research, Our Volunteers have located a top tier Attorney Group, Attorneys dont work for free sadly so we have to raise donatilns to begin taking 1 State to court every single month.

  7. There is NEVER a good REASON to KILL our WOLVES! They are an important part of our eco-system in our forests! They keep the balance between the animals and all plant life. It’s when MAN interferes with that balance then there becomes a problem. Wolves do NOT need to be “managed”! Nature takes care of it’s self and always has. Ranchers need to use MODERN FORMS of ranching and STOP blaming wolves for their livestock kills. People need to learn to co-exist with wolves. Their lives matter and they have every right to live on this land in their own environment. As HUMAN BEINGS it is our MORAL DUTY to SAVE and PROTECT these WOLVES! WE need to STOP trophy hunting. It is is BLOOD SPOT! When you KILL even one member of a wolf family it effects the pack. This is WRONG and we have to ADVOCATE against it!

  13. Wolves are vert important for thé natural ecosystem. They are magnificent creatures that attract tourism . Please stop killing them just for fun. What kind of people are in the government? Do you really want a world just with cows and sheep industries? You show the world who you really are.

  18. This must stop!! These beautiful animals are so essential to our environment. We need to start listening to the science and not these horrible hunters. They won’t be happy until they kill them all. Leave them alone!! I will never step foot in that state or buy anything that comes from such a heartless state. Hope Karma gets you all!!

  26. So many reasons I’m against the hunting of these animals. The trapping and snares needs to stop for all animals. Many countries have outlawed this practice in hunting.
