Monday:
Woke up this Monday morning to 4-5 inches of fresh white outside, what a great way to start the day!
Of into the Park I went to discover that of course the Lamars had opted to not stay home and were instead heading back West. One cant blame them, at this time of year pickings are slim in the Lamar. I continued off to to the Little America area and discovered that part of the Junction Butte Pack had crossed the road leaving a few members on the other side.
While driving around I took this picture of a Bison grazing.
After some time word came in that the Wolf Project crew had spotted the Lamars to the west and that they were with a Grizzly Bear and a carcass. This was so far off that I didn’t go and view them.
A bit later the Junctions that were left behind were spotted, and a little while later I discovered that they were moving east, so after calling the info in I took some pictures! Nothing close up, but heck, everyday cant be perfect. 🙂
Three of the five managed to cross the road again, the 1st being 911m.
Other than this, there were some Moose out as normal and a plethora of Coyotes.
To end this post, here is a random picture of a bunny.
