Please everyone Contact California Governor Newsom and request that he hold the seat for a Tribal Member. Feel free to inform him we are happy to be that Native American.

Hello Governor Newsom,
We understand that there is a Wildlife Commissioners Seat that has somehow come open. In the interest of consultation we truly feel that this seat should be offered to a Native American. We as an NGO would like to see a Native American offered that seat. We always hear that Fish and Game reach out to Tribes and fail to get the proper information that they seek. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have a Native American doing the reaching out for CDFW ?
Further We have been informed that the USFS is experiencing the same issue and they have asked if we might pass along Tribal Concerns that we have been informed about. Our Nonprofit is working on a database that we have begun to put concerns into on a National scale, it wouldn’t take much more to add California’s Tribes. However in the interest of consultation we truly feel that this seat should be held open for a Native American. We would be happy to pass along the information that we gather.
