We demand Transparency from our Government Agencies, We have to Provide the same to be effective. Loose the fear of Death Threats Folks, it happens all the time, They are simply running their mouth.

Dear Governor,

I have repeatedly written and called your office for you to comment on what is happening to our wolves in Eastern Washington. You have decided to make no comments or respond to any of my emails. I am one of your constituents who voted for you wholeheartedly, because you profess yourself to be a “Green” Governor. However, after the killing of 4 wolf packs at the behest of one single rancher it does not appear that you really do care about our Environment and the wants of the majority of the people who voted for you.

We do not want our wolves killed, especially on Government leased land to benefit the bottom line of one rancher who refuses to follow any laws or protocols put in place by your agency. I respectfully request that you put a stop to this kill order and that an EIS be put in place so that the WDFW can review the impact the killing of our wildlife, the displacement of our indigenous ungulates and the effect cows are having on the land that they are grazing on. I believe it is the intention of this one rancher to eradicate wolves once again as there were in the 20th century.

It is my opinion that EcoTourism brings in more GDP than one rancher could ever provide. In line with this, I believe that ignoring our Southern Resident Orcas is a huge stain on your legacy and in 10 years or less they will no longer exist. Our waters are over fished, they are toxic, spawning estuaries are disappearing and dams are preventing Chinook Salmon to return to their spawning areas.

All of these problems means that our Orcas are starving and the world is watching Governor. I am requesting that you review these problems immediately and find solutions to keep these important apex predators alive and thriving. In the case of the wolves, they kill the sick, weak and infirm ungulates. Hunters kill the strongest and most suitable hunters for the pack, thus causing chaos and confusion in their pack status. This in it of itself leads them to find easier prey such as cows and exacerbates the problem.

I believe Ranchers and Hunters know this and are intentionally putting their cows in harm’s way as an excuse to have them killed. You and your agencies are here to represent us, the people, not a few donors. It does not look good in the eyes of the people sir. We are not ignorant and we know what sound science tells us. I urge you to address these current problems before it is too late for these animals. Killing a pup from a helicopter with a high power rifle does not look like your agency cares about our wildlife.

Please put a stop to this kill order as the cattle our nearly done using and abusing the land for this year anyway. We know these allotments are sold for far less than market price. That is why they would even consider putting cows and calves on rocky terrain in our forests. The science is there sir. Please do the right thing by our wildlife and by the voters who put you in office.

  1. center for biological diversity just sent me an email that they killed a five month old wolf pup. eastern Washington is a dive area. the people there look like they’re extras in the movie deliverance.

  2. Please protect the wolves. Ranchers shouldn’t be running our state! Cattle need to be removed from public land. I will not support or vote for you if you don’t do the right thing. Science has proven that wolves are essential to our environment. Listen to the scientists and protect our wildlife.
