Hunters are taking their toll on Our WOLVES, its time to STAND UP!
Wolves are still in danger. Their foes are many. And it’s the foes who have been trying to control this debate and trying to keep the wolf in their selfish grip.
We have an agriculture industry with their historic lack of tolerance for natural predators, even though there are effective, non-lethal ways of dealing with the issue, one of which is stop killing them.
They are social hunters that depend on each other for success in taking down prey. With hunters and trappers whittling their families and effectiveness as teams, down to desperation, they are making them more likely to go after livestock.
Hunters even have the gall to complain about the number of deer the wolves eat. Wolves should have first rights to deer, not hunters killing for “sport.” I believe this is why the DNR created the 350 statewide limit for wolves. They are seen as competition to a group whose only duty, it seems, is catering to hunters.
