He also answered our email from 2 days ago, He is speaking with council members regarding our Formal Resolution of Support. In his Humble Opinion he has informed us that Our Sacred Species are in the 12th Hour, its time for real action. What does Real action mean to Sergio? Getting our Native, Children’s, Public trust Research into the Courts! Sergio is a Northern Arapaho Tribal Elder.

Greetings,

As citizens who reside in the state of Wyoming and the beautiful Wind River reservation we are richly blessed. Diversity is abundant! I have mentioned previously that “we are at a threshold of change.” In short order we will be a part of history at the national as well as the state level and local levels. I know and believe that every citizen wants to preserve the foundations of our livelihood such as clean air and water, and peaceful relationships with all regardless of ethnicity and beliefs.

Economic conditions have greatly affected our communities, both tribes and the state, namely the drop in oil and gas prices. To that end our governments are more frugal with revenues but too often at the expense of the people. Now is not the time to wax emotional about those who choose to engage in the “political” arena but to be a participant with them.

As a member of this community with relations in both the Eastern Shoshone and the Northern Arapaho tribes I am prepared to be of service and represent you. My service includes the City of Lander and their citizen’s too as good relations between all will secure a positive future but it does not end there.

Lastly, we are reminded by nature that we as humans, both tribal and non-tribal are here on this earth but a short time. How we choose to think and believe, decisions made and not made, and most importantly, did I do the right? The moral imperative speaks to this. To that end, I stand ready to be of service to our community, the citizens of Lander and represent you as House District 33 representative.

Blessings and Peace to you.

Sergio A. Maldonado, Sr.
