Leave it up to WDFW to look for loop holes, They wrongfully pushed thru their Lethal Kill Policy and need to be held accountable for pandering to Ranchers. With the Public’s help, We can begin working towards closing offending Ranchers like McIrvins Grazing Allotments with the research that we have. Ranchers need to Remember that Grazing rights are a privilege not a right, or a vested property right as Dashiell would hope you would believe, whom couldn’t even dispute the facts when we showed him direct from Policy.
SEATTLE – The state Department of Fish and Wildlife will ask a King County judge to partially dismiss a lawsuit that opposes shooting wolves.
The Capital Press reports wolf advocates are suing to halt the department from killing wolves until it completes an environmental review that could take two or more years.
The department argues it’s obligated to promptly remove nuisance wildlife, including wolves attacking livestock.
A Thurston County judge in November agreed with Fish and Wildlife, narrowing but not ending a suit brought by environmental groups in 2018. Wolf advocates hope for a different outcome in King County. Their lawsuit challenges the killing of wolves in 2019.
