sacred resource protection zone, protect the wolves, protect yellowstone grizzlies

Good Morning to All.

My apologies for the slow posting, but we have been very busy. We are announcing tomorrows Phone Conference with the New Grizzly Bear Recovery Coordinator Hilary Cooley.

We are digging into the actions taken against a Grizzly Bear known as 863. Our Wyoming Grizzly Coordinator Deidre Bainbridge will be present for the phone conference, where at the finish, we will be posting the questions asked as well as the answers provided, Further We will attempt to be record the conference.

Some have asked why are we speaking for Grizzlies? We are a Native American Org that cares about protecting all of Our Children’s Resources for future generations to not only appreciate, but also educating the public that the Grizzly just like the Wolf are Held “Sacred” in the  TRADITIONAL religious beliefs of practicing Traditional Native Americans, but they both are necessary in supporting a healthy Ecosystem which some Native Americans view as “The Circle of Life”.

Some Groups and Individuals have also asked Deidre how we were able to get a Telephone Conference so quickly with the Grizzly Recovery Coordinator. Lets just say that we are a tribal member founded Org with rights, be they Religious or otherwise have, that most other large or small orgs do not have. Perhaps a Great Reason to consider Joining the Howl that will be heard the world over.

Due to Hilary being a Regional Wolf Biologist for Idaho Fish and Game we will be working on a path forward to in hopes show her support in her mission as well as working towards gaining hers perhaps in working towards establishing our proposed “Sacred Resource Protection Zone” surrounding National Parks. Our Children’s Resources are in need of all of the help that we can provide them.

Needless to say the grizzly Recovery plan is a bit dated as in 1993, but below was supposed to be their mission.

The mission of the Grizzly Bear Recovery office is to implement the Grizzly Bear Recovery Plan, coordinate research, management, and recovery efforts, and cooperate closely with Alberta and British Columbia on transboundary grizzly conservation efforts.  We implement specific research and management actions to facilitate grizzly bear recovery.  In addition, we assist in land management activities by offering guidance on what will and will not negatively affect grizzly bear populations and their habitat.

In 1975, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service listed the grizzly bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in the lower 48 States. The goal of the Endangered Species Act is to recover listed species to the point at which federal protection under the ESA is no longer needed. To accomplish this goal, the USFWS developed a grizzly bear recovery plan and hired Dr. Chris Servheen as the Grizzly Bear Recovery Coordinator. The first Grizzly Bear Recovery Plan was released in 1982. The latest recovery plan was published in 1993.
